PA ALEXANDRIA — Alexandria Borough Council approves revised traffic-calming engineering services contract. Vice President Mike Peters moved and President Judy Scott seconded unanimous approval of the revised EADs agreement, which increased the project engineering cost to approximately $135,000, up from an initial $100,000 estimate due to PennDOT involvement and expanded scope. Council noted an estimated $65,000 funding gap against approximately $70,000 currently available.

Construction is projected to begin in 2027 following PennDOT scheduling. Council also appointed Melissa Davis as Porter Township's Sewer Authority representative and deferred Melvin Lane Nature Park discussion until March pending receipt of the finalized DCNR contract and clarification of 50/50 matching requirements.
